Wine type: rosé Alcohol content: 12% by volume Variety: Merlot Trained to a single cordon. Planting density 3,100 vines per hectare and production of about 100,000 kg/per hectare. Soil of average texture. Vinification: Merlot is generally harvested during the middle 10 days of September. The grapes are macerated for about 12 hours, then are fermented in steel tanks at a temperature of 18‑20°C. Matured in steel tanks for 4 months. Colour: smooth ruby red with purplish tinges. Nose: intense with pronounced notes of strawberry, violet and cherry. Palate: fresh and fruity, savoury, with good persistence. Pairing: fish and mediterranean cuisine dishes. |
